An internet connection and a screen. There is no set-top box, no dish, no engineer visit and no equipment rental. We recommend 5 Mbps for HD and 25 Mbps for 4K, but the player adapts continuously, so a slower moment shows a slightly softer picture rather than a spinning wheel.

No. The 24-hour free trial asks for an e-mail address and nothing else, and it does not roll into a paid subscription by itself. If you decide to continue you enter payment details then — and if you do not, the trial simply stops. Once you have paid, the 14-day money-back guarantee still applies.

Our live channels run about four seconds behind terrestrial broadcast, which is normal for streamed television and typically ahead of satellite. Sport is delivered on a low-latency path that cuts that to roughly two seconds. Every live channel supports pause, rewind and start-over for the programme currently airing.

Almost the entire on-demand catalogue is downloadable on every pack — around 96% of titles, the exceptions being a handful of licensed films whose rights holders do not permit it. Downloads stay on the device for 30 days, or 48 hours once you start watching, and renew automatically the next time the app is online.

A small number of third-party live channels carry their broadcaster's own advertising, which we are contractually not allowed to remove — those channels are clearly marked in the guide, and catch-up versions of their programmes are advert-free.

Yes, on every plan that includes sport. You can pause for up to two hours, rewind to the start of the fixture, and jump back to the live edge with one button. Premium adds multi-angle feeds and a live stats overlay on selected matches.

Any time, from the account page, in two clicks. Upgrades apply immediately and are prorated; downgrades take effect at the next renewal. If you cancel you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and your profiles, watchlists and resume points are held for twelve months in case you come back.

No. The pack price covers every channel, the whole on-demand catalogue, sport, 4K where the title is available in it, cloud recording, every profile and all your devices. There is no equipment rental, activation fee, sport pack or per-recording charge. Prices exclude VAT, which is added at your local rate.

We use it to give you recommendations and to report aggregate viewing figures to the rights holders we license from — which is contractually required and always anonymised. We do not sell it, we do not share it with advertisers, and there is no third-party tracking script inside the player. You can export or delete everything from the account page.
